How did you first break into full-time fashion and style blogging?
I studied design, public relations and product development in college before traveling around the world and eventually ending up at the Head Office for Gina Tricot in the denim buyer’s department. That's when I began blogging and within a few months, I was able to move to Stockholm to pursue it full-time!
Looking back on 2014, what would you say is your greatest accomplishment?
Releasing my first collection last month was the absolute best. It’s amazing to finally see it in stores and in online web shops after almost a year of working on it – from the initial sketches to traveling throughout China and all the work put behind it. I was also rewarded “The Best Fashion Blog Newcomer” (which meant a lot to me)!.
Congratulations! What's the most meaningful thing you're working on right now?
Currently, my second clothing line for Bubbleroom and my third leather jacket collection for Jofama.
What’s your favorite look for this season?
I love layers-on-layers! And, turtleneck cardigans matched with thigh high boots.
Where do you get most of your style inspiration and creativity?
Music, music, music! All of my inspiration comes from that. I’d define my style as rock-ish with a girlie twist.
Staying creative and inspired is a state of mind. I truly believe that if you do what you love, it can be surprising how creative you can actually be.
What are your ideal backdrops for shooting?
Definitely abandoned places and industrial areas.
What do you love most about photography?
Photography is another way to look at reality. I love the process of capturing memories and creating a story. I want the locations, outfits and poses to all contribute in building that particular story.
Tell us about your next shoot.
I’m going to Madrid and then Capetown, South Africa, in a month to shoot my collection. I’m definitely expecting plenty of encounters with some crazy animals there.
After that, I’ll be traveling to Johannesburg to safari, and then New York (again!).
You’ve definitely been bit by the travel bug. What’s one of your favorite places to visit?
I love Cabo. It’s amazing!
What about your home base -- Stockholm?
Oh, there are so many things I adore about Stockholm. Everyone should go to Djurgårn and just walk along the water. It’s so magical.
Plus, the majority of the people here have incredible stye. I can only think of positive things to say about the city.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully accomplished with my designs, living in a beautiful home, and with a loving man.
What’s on your iTunes at the moment?
Clique by Kanye West & Jay-Z
Personal mantra?
At the end of the day your feet should be dirty, your hair messy and your eyes sparkling.
