MEIBE

If there's anything we've learned from Conan O'Brien and Steven Yuen's visit to the Korean spa, besides a few hearty laughs from some of its peculiarities, is the depth of American fascination with Korean's expertise in skincare, health and holistic beauty — many of whose products can be found at online cosmetics retailer MEIBE. One of its more innovative items, a whisper-thin cushion foundation that’s been likened to having a second skin, has already received rave reviews from the likes of Beyonce, Naomi Watts and Karlie Kloss.

But even with celebrity endorsements in tow for many of its products, MEIBE's primary interest was to now enlighten fashion and beauty enthusiasts from around the world. They were looking for a fun, affordable and endearing way to tap into American pop culture and lifestyle.

When they approached us about a campaign, I decided to compile a quiz-based editorial to help readers discover their ideal beauty routine and pinpoint the best products for them to use. From vintage beach babes and island dwellers to water babies and summer starlets, the quiz provided inspiration and ideas for readers to seize the day and pursue their greatest passions. It was an engaging and enjoyable way to discover the true beauty of your authentic self, regardless of your skin type, lifestyle or personality — and a reminder that cosmetics should simply enhance, rather than weigh down, your life.
