In late July, the Port Eliot Festival takes place – once one of the UK’s best-kept secrets until a surge of popularity in recent years brought it to light. Deemed to be “fashion’s favorite festival,” this literary (and now art, fashion, food and music) celebration is known as a sartorial free-for-all, from peacock feathers and wild make-up to extravagant millinery creations.
