“If you want to drum up people to build a ship, teach them — rather than by assigning tasks — to long for the endless immensity of the sea,” one of the many sayings I’ve come to adore by French WWII pilot, explorer and author Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
Central America was a region close to his heart and every time I pass by, I think about his writings & insights into faith, imagination and the human spirit, and the impact it’s had on my own life, amongst others. Sometime in the 1940s, he disappeared. Though accompanied by numerous speculations and strange foreshadowings, whatever happened to him has remained a mystery since.
